Citroen C2 5 speed Gearbox

The 5 speed MA type gearbox fitted to this vehicle had severe wear on the planetary set, the planetary gears had all shed teeth which is common for this type of gearbox. This, in turn, had damaged the pinion [mainshaft]. There was also evidence of metal fatigue and pitting on the lay gear [1st gear]. The gearset was swapped out in its entirety, and fitted with all new bearings & seals.
