ZF 5HP 24 BMW &  JAGUAR

This gearbox presented with typical failure with the A Drum broken at its weakest point the fix is fairly simple, new A drum and a full ZF overhaul kit including pistons & clutches, we always change the reverse piston in the F Clutch as this the 2nd weakest point in this type of gearbox in the last month we have seen both one out of an older 5 series BMW  and the other out of a Jaguar XK8

In both cases, a recon unit was £1200 + Vat
