The last few weeks have seen several 12 plate Mercedes Sprinter gearboxes in for repair. Common issues with these are Bearing failure which is more noticeable on the input shaft and selector or fork issues. The forks for one type have no serviceable items and we just replace the fork set in its entirety. I prefer to order the parts direct from the Mercedes Commercial main agent in Norwich and so far the order to fulfilment time has been very quick & often next day if ordered by 3PM
